PlanetHike is a global movement that transforms everyday walking into environmental restoration. Every step you take can earn RegreenityCoins, which represent real trees planted and verified impact.

Our mission is to build the world's largest citizen-driven environmental movement by turning movement into measurable environmental action. We aim to plant 10 million trees and recycle 10 million phones.
Registration & Participation
How do I register?
Visit our registration page and choose your plan. You can register as an individual, join a school, or register your company. Each registration includes your first RegreenityCoin and tree planted.
What plans are available?
We offer Starter Plan (€15), Shirt Bundle (€45), and Hoodie Bundle (€65). All plans include participation access and your first RegreenityCoin. You can also add monthly walk access for €6/year.
RegreenityCoins & Impact Tracking
What is a RegreenityCoin?
A RegreenityCoin (RC) is your Certificate of Impact. Each Coin represents one real tree planted and is tied to verified actions you've taken. You can't buy Coins — you earn them through walking and participation.
How do I earn RegreenityCoins?
You earn Coins by walking during official Monthly Walk Weekends, participating in Global Action Day (May 29), hitting high-step milestones, recycling phones, and completing impact challenges.
Step Tracking & Verification
How do I submit my steps?
Log into your dashboard and use the 'Upload Steps' feature. You can submit screenshots from any fitness tracker or phone. Random audits ensure fairness and transparency.
What devices are supported?
Any phone or fitness tracker works. Simply take a screenshot of your step count and upload it through your dashboard. We accept data from Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, Garmin, and more.
Merchandise & Shipping
What merchandise is included?
The Shirt Bundle includes an official white PlanetHike T-shirt. The Hoodie Bundle includes an official hoodie. Both are climate-positive and made with sustainable materials.
When will I receive my merchandise?
Merchandise is typically shipped within 2-3 weeks after registration. You'll receive tracking information via email once your order ships.
Environmental Transparency
How do I know trees are actually planted?
Every RegreenityCoin is linked to a real tree-planting partner and includes verifiable impact history. You can view the origin, date, and impact count of each Coin in your dashboard.
Is PlanetHike transparent about impact?
Yes. Every Certificate includes a complete history: origin event, date, action that earned it, and all boosts added. This creates a transparent, traceable record of your environmental contribution.
Events & Hosting Walks
What are Monthly Walk Weekends?
Monthly Walk Weekends occur every 2nd weekend (Friday-Sunday) of each month. These are global events where walkers worldwide participate and can earn RegreenityCoins for verified participation.
What is Global Action Day?
Global Action Day happens every May 29. It's the world's largest coordinated walking event for environmental restoration, with millions of participants walking together for the planet.
Boosting (adding trees to your Coin)
What is Boosting?
Boosting lets you add more trees to a RegreenityCoin you've already earned. Each Certificate can store up to 1,000 trees. Boosting amplifies your impact and creates a stronger legacy Certificate.
How does Boosting work?
Go to 'My Certificates' in your dashboard, choose a Certificate, select a boost amount (€5, €15, €25, €50, or custom), and complete checkout. The additional trees are immediately added to your Certificate.
Data, Privacy & Security
How is my data protected?
We respect your privacy. Your personal information is never shared with third parties. All payment processing is secure and encrypted. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
What data do you collect?
We collect only what's necessary: name, email, and step count data you choose to submit. We never track your location or access other personal data without your explicit consent.

How do I update my account information?
Log into your dashboard and navigate to 'Account Settings'. You can update your email, password, and profile information at any time.
Funding & Donations
Where does my registration fee go?
Registration fees support PlanetHike's operations, tree-planting partnerships, platform development, and our mission to plant 10 million trees and recycle 10 million phones.
Are Boosts tax-deductible?
Yes, Boosts are tax-deductible in many jurisdictions. Consult with a tax professional in your country for specific guidance on claiming environmental contributions.
