2. Description of Service

PlanetHike is a movement-based environmental impact platform that:

• Tracks walking participation and steps for environmental challenges
• Issues RegreenityCoins based on verified participation
• Facilitates tree planting through verified environmental actions
• Provides impact tracking and reporting for individuals, schools, and organizations
• Enables tree-boosting contributions (up to 1,000 trees per token)

3. Registration and Account

To use certain features of our Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Payment Terms

Certain services require payment. By making a purchase, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your selected plan or service
• Provide valid payment information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method for the agreed amount
• Understand that all sales are final unless otherwise stated

For organization admins, payment is required before account activation. Unpaid accounts will be restricted until payment is completed.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false or fraudulent step data or participation information
• Attempt to manipulate or game the system
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by PlanetHike OÜ and are protected by Estonian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

RegreenityCoins are digital tokens representing verified environmental impact. They do not confer ownership of physical assets, trees, or any property rights.

7. School Donation Model

Schools participating in PlanetHike may retain 90% of donations for their chosen environmental causes, with 10% allocated to PlanetHike's operational costs. This model is subject to verification and compliance with applicable regulations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlanetHike OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
